Elder Emenike Joseph Okorie elected President General of Umuka Community
BREAKING NEWS Elder Emenike Joseph Okorie, Barrister and Solicitor, Supreme Court of Nigeria, has been elected the President - General of Umuka Community, Okposi on Saturday 29/01/22 @ the Village square! He will lead the Umuka Community till 2026!
Bar Emenike Okorie is a National leading voice and epitome of excellence when it comes to Community Development. He is a grassroot mobiliser and human capital developer at family level.
He is known for his contagious simplicity, outrageous generosity and infectious humility! He has pioneered so many Community - driven self help efforts and Worldbank-Assisted projects in the Community.
He runs scholarship endowment that has assisted many young girls and school drop outs to complete their secondary & tertiary education. He has also facilitated numerous vocational trainings and start-ups for natives of Umuka Ogwumeze, the most populous village in Okposi. Elder E J Okorie was elected along side Elder Chief Okorie Irem, a living sage as Umuka new Traditional Ruler.
